If you’re an animal lover like me, take a visit to the Memphis Zoo. It is only about an hour and 14 minutes from Jonesboro, Arkansas. Enjoy this video I made with some pictures and videos I took at the Memphis Zoo by clicking Memphis Zoo Cuties.
Something I learned while visiting the Zoo was the importance of Recycling our electronics. Apparently Coltan is something used in electronic devices. It is mostly mined in habitats where Gorillas live. According to Gorillas on the Line mining of Coltan is impacting the Gorillas and their habitat. Recycling old electronic devices can reduce the need to mine as much Coltan and hopefully not destroy as much of their habitat. Recycling also cuts down on what goes in landfills.
